On the second day of the festival there was a lot more action with brightly dressed groups going up and down steps and eventually there was a full scale procession through the grounds and down the main road towards the city centre. They stopped at the end of that tree-lined avenue you saw in my last post and set up the three portable shrines that they'd carried there and held a service of some sort. All dutch to me of course but the whole thing was wonderful.
